EIC Group wins the IRC Class & Line Honours Trophy in the Michelmores Annual Yacht Race
The 21st Michelmores annual corporate yacht race around Torbay took place on Saturday 3rd September in near perfect sailing conditions.
Eic Group have entered a yacht in this race every year since its inception in 1990
Over 30 yachts, including Sir Francis Chichester's legendary 53' Gipsy Moth IV, competed in the race hosted by Brixham Yacht Club.

FIVE STAFF GAIN THEIR INSTITUTE OF METAL FINISHING TECHNICIANS QUALIFICATION
Five Staff at South West Metal Finishing have recently gained their Insitute of Metal Finishing Qualification. The staff - Eric Rake, Jon Underhill, Ruta Urbsyte, Kasha Werblanska and Renata Kacinslate have all successfully completed the course and have been awarded their certificates. The course is a comprehensive study of electroplating from the Science all the way through to the practical and technical aspects.....

SWMF 10K Commando Challenge 2010
On Sunday 10th October a team from South West Metal Finishing + guests took part in the 10k Commando Challenge on Woodbury Common.
The team went through deep mud pits, large open water ponds up to our waists, long dark tunnels, and to cap it all - were fully submerged in the famous ' sheep dip' underwater tunnel! The team raised over £800 for Devon Air Ambulance

Two members of staff from South West Metal Finishing departed on a rally across Europe raising money for Devon Air Ambulance on 4th September 2010.
