Collection & Delivery
Our own fleet of vehicles operates a regular collection and delivery service covering Devon, Cornwall, Avon, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucester. Other areas are serviced by arrangement.

Non-Destructive Testing
South West Metal Finishing Ltd holds NADCAP approval to carry out both magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection. Our trained level II technicians are qualified to carry out complete inspection on components for the aerospace and general engineering industries. Liquid penetrant inspection can only be used for detecting discontinuities which are open to the surface on metals and other non-porous components such as castings, forgings, machined and fabricated parts. Our company can now offer a service on all our customers components to be inspected by both water washable and post emulsifiable penetrant processes (all tank sizes 2'x2'x2'). Magnetic particle inspection is another NDT method which provides the means of detecting surface and sub-surface discontinuities in magnetiseable ferrous components. This process is considerably different to liquid penetrant inspection and is able to give a high degree of assurance of quality to a product. Our recent investment into new plant will offer all our customers the advantage and convenience of non-destructive testing on a wide variety of components before and/or after plating with 100% quality assurance.
