South West Metal Finishing Receives Supplier of the Year Award from Westland Transmissions
South West Metal Finishing were honoured to receive the 'Supplier of the Year' 2007 Award from Westland Transmissions at a ceremony in March 2008. Having received 'Emerging Supplier of the Year' in the prior year we weren't sure what to expect this year, so receiving both the 'Overall Supplier of the Year' award and the 'Offload Supplier of the Year' award came as a welcome surprise. This comes down principally to the staff at Exeter and Yeovil, pulling together and partnering with Westlands to ensure that our performance targets are met and we hope to exceed the expectations of both Westland Transmissions and all our customers in the coming year.

For over 75 years EIC Finishing Services including South West Metal Finishing (Exeter and Yeovil), Neptune Plating (Bristol) and Revill Industrial Finishes (Exeter) has supplied metal finishing, anodising , paint finishing and non destructive testing services to the aerospace, marine, motor, electronic and other engineering sectors. During this time we have developed our services to meet new quality and environmental standards and invested in new plant facilities to cope with ever changing requirements.
At South West Metal Finishing we now hold the aerospace sector approval AS 9100 and NADCAP (The National Aerospace and Defence Contractors Accreditation Program) which, unlike other supplier approval schemes is an approval based on industry consensus.
EIC Finishing Services has just recently installed a new state of the art cadmium plating facility at its Yeovil outlet and subsequently turnover times for cadmium plating have been substantially reduced. At Neptune Plating in Bristol we have launched a new zinc alloy plating plant for zinc nickel and zinc cobalt plating and the associated passivates.
We are now pleased to be able to offer a one stop shop for all quality sub contract metal finishing treatments and we operate a collection and delivery service throughout the South West and all other parts of the UK and mainland Europe by arrangement.
